Activities for rainy days - Clara

Image
Of course, going outside is a very important and entertaining activity to do every day especially during lockdown but on rainy days it can be a struggle to do this. So I am going to introduce you to some at-home crafts that do not require too many materials or any technology. I will also show some channels and sources where you can investigate  and find more arts and crafts.  A fun craft that you have probably not tried before is called paint pour. It is the artwork of mixing colors and letting the paint create art. You grab a cup and add in some colors of your choice, then slightly mix them with a popsicle stick and pour them in whichever manner you like onto your canvas. This can be messy but very fun. It would look something like the picture below :) Something else you can do to pass time with crafts is to challenge yourself to make artwork out of materials in your house. For example a toilet paper roll, an old shoebox, etc. A channel called five-minute crafts play ha...

Image
One of the best things to do if you want to beat your boredom is baking and cooking, I personally really enjoy this and spend alot of my time in the kitchen. A great way to make your cooking more enjoyable and fresh is using fruit that is in season. At the moment it is the last day of may, meaning tommorow will be june. I am going to be sharing some of the best foods that will be in season throughout the coming month.   Blackberries Corn Melons Courgettes Asparagus Beetroot Broad beans. Cauliflower. Cherries. French beans. Globe artichokes. Gooseberries. Here are some reasons why its better to buy with the seasons: 1. Your food will be riper and tastier because they have been naturally ripened and picked at the right time.   2. Not only will your food be fresher, it also actually cheaper to buy food in season. Safe Outside Activities - Clara

Safe outside activities  It can be hard to find time in your day to go outside but this is essential to ensure a positive attitude. Many people are reluctant to go outside but no matter the weather going outside for at least an hour a day is going to do you much help. There are many different activities that can be done outdoors but are still safe and maintain the distance rules. These can be done in parks in a clear space or as simple as in your garden.   I have gathered multiple activities for different age groups that are perfectly safe and fun. A big struggle is to continuously come up with fun activities for your kids to do outside so here are some ideas. Doing an obstacle course will keep kids from the age of 7 - 12 entertained and they will need little help. Go to a park or a clear field with little people and bring ropes, hoops, cones, ribbons, scooters, or anything that you can find around your house that could make for an obstacle course. Then create obsta...
